Citroen C5 Aircross to debut in Shanghai

Citroen has confirmed its new C5 Aircross SUV will make its global debut at the 2017 Shanghai Motor Show.

Directly inspired by the Aircross concept car revealed at the 2015 Shanghai Motor Show, the new C5 Aircross is described as a ‘people-minded’ SUV - combining 'assertive design' with an interior dedicated to the well-being of all passengers.

Citroen says the new model stands apart through its unique character, dynamism and presence, describing it as 'remarkably spacious for all occupants'. Featuring the latest technology it offers owners an easier and safer drive, and takes a modern approach to comfort.

The Citroen C5 Aircross marks a major step forward in the Citroen Advanced Comfort programme with the world debut of a suspension system equipped with Progressive Hydraulic Cushions, which is unique to the Citroen brand. The technology will be illustrated on the stand with a demonstration showing how the system filters out road imperfections.

The 2017 Shanghai Motor Show runs from 19-28 April.
