With speculation rife about Zlatan Ibrahimović’s future, its seems Volvo has won the race for his signature.
It’s all part of a new Volvo V90 marketing campaign featuring the global football star and Swedish international.
The new campaign, which airs for the first time on May 30, stars the former Paris Saint-Germain F.C. striker and the Swedish premium car maker.
“The campaign is a celebration of the independent mind, of the power that lies in the ability to think differently. There are many similarities between Zlatan’s and Volvo’s journeys. We haven’t got to where we are now by doing the same as everyone else,” said Anders Gustafsson, Senior Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Africa at Volvo Car Group.
Launched earlier in the year, the V90 builds on Volvo’s heritage in the estate segment, which began more than 60 years ago with the Volvo Duett. The new V90 takes the premium estate a step forward, says Volvo.
