Renault to reveal Trezor Concept in Paris

Described as the successor to the DeZir concept of 2010, Renault says the Trezor marks the beginning of a brand new design cycle.

In 2010, the DeZir concept car embodied the renewal of Renault’s brand identity, ushering in a new styling signature founded on simple, warm and sensuous lines.

Now, following the complete renewal of its entire model line-up between 2012 and 2016, the Renault brand currently boasts Europe’s youngest vehicle range with an average age of three years and two months.

Described as having ‘surprising proportions’ the Trezor concept car is set to kick off a new chapter in the history of Renault styling.

The solitary teaser image we have so far gives little away in terms of styling but a short video trailer appears to depict autonomous driving capability with an automatically-adjusting steering wheel and Renault has confirmed that the ‘Z’ in the Trezor name refers to an all-electric Z.E. powertrain.

Carlos Ghosn and Laurens van den Acker will unveil the Trezor concept car during the Renault press conference on Thursday 29 September 2016.
