I have discovered a new Japanese word: gizen. For an explanation, first read my previous blog ‘Protect the environment’ and then visit the new Lexus Hybrid Living site. It suggests a number of ways in which concerned citizens may live in an aura of righteous sustainability, and provides links to suppliers of luxury goods that will enable well-heeled eco-warriors to avoid slumming it. Curiously enough, there are no links to the Toyota Tundra site, nor does Lexus suggest how a broadband connection might be accomplished without the aid of carbon-fuelled electricity.
