| Meet the quins: from left-to-right £500, £1,000, £3,000, £4,000 and Gratis |

In an imaginative aside to the usual cashback offers, Kia has just launched a new promotion aimed at expectant mums, and if they can be traced, the fathers too. The idea is that multiple births will attract a discount on a new Kia. For example, parents of twins will receive £1,000 discount, triplets £3,000, and so on. Parents of quintupletes will be given a Carens gratis. Yes, all you have to do, mums, is to give birth at one hit to five bouncing babies and Kia will present you with a brand-new Carens. Even a single child warrants a £500 discount.
The odds of giving birth to quintupletes is 85 million to one, and the odds of anyone actually wanting a Carens….well, let’s say it’s a pretty safe bet for Kia.
I don’t understand your negativity about the Kia Carens. Especially when in your own road test, albeit an old report http://www.newcarnet.co.uk/Kia_Carens_roadtest.html?id=170&highlightws=Kia you actually praise the car! Is this a case of double standards? A cheap pun at a manufacturer who is creating cars that people can actually afford. Not everyone can afford three cars like you obviously can.

I actually own a Cinquecento, a Carens and a caravan, but I have an image to maintain.
