| It is a very driveable car... |

Initially there are six versions to choose from, and three trim levels, Active Dynamic and Eleganza. I went for the 1.2-litre engined Dynamic Air Con for my test car, which is in the dealerships now priced at £7,495 OTR.
The Dynamic version is split into four options: Dynamic, Dynamic SkyDome, Dynamic Sound and the aforementioned Dynamic AirCon. All are self-explanatory but a little details won't go amiss.
The SkyDome has a two tinted-glass roof panels front and rear. The rear one is static and the front panel slides back over it. For some reason it also has fog-lights. The Dynamic AirCon comes with ... wait for it, manual air-conditioning, complete with a pollen filter. In addition, the Dynamic Sound has Blaupunkt radio/CD player with Hi-Fi sound system. All these add some £600 to the basic Dynamic price.
Now, if I can possibly help it, I will not mention Dynamic again.
The test car came with the 'Guacamole' solid paintwork. In the brochure, it looks a subdued colour but in the flesh it is nearer lime green, which when combined with the heavily embossed yellow fabric seats, gave it a sense of fun.
For sure, it is a jolly car all round. There is an element of honey I shrunk the Multipla about the design. This was more striking on the inside, where the light grey fascia and door panels showed little echoes of the larger MPV.
The squared-off rear end contributes to the spaciousness of the cab and even without the SkyDome the car seems light and airy. Large rear doors make getting in and out very easy indeed and that in turn means that strapping the kids in the back is a doddle.
