The new Chrysler 300C will be available in two trim levels, Limited and Executive. Both will be powered by a new 3.0-litre V6 turbo diesel, which incorporates Fiat Group's MultiJet 2 technology.

The 236bhp unit produces 540Nm of torque, peaking between 1600 and 2800rpm. 0-62 mph takes 7.4 seconds, en route to a top speed of 144mph. The new 300C can manage 39.8mpg on the combined cycle, which corresponds to an CO2 emissions figure of 185g/km.
Chrysler has invested a lot of time in improving the perceived quality of the 300C. The interior benefits from redesigned Nappa leather seats and real wood panels on the dashboard. The body is made from a variety of new materials including advanced high resistance and ultra-strong steel. The improved rigidity combined with all-new suspension is said to have improved the rear-wheel drive 300C's handling, while also yielding a quieter and more refined ride.
Standard features on the Limited trim level include: Rain Brake Support, which helps keep the brake pads dry for better stopping power in poor conditions is unique to this class of car; ventilated front seats and heated rears; the Uconnect infotainment system with Bluetooth; dual-zone climate control; an 8.4-inch touch screen display; cruise control; and 18-inch wheels.
The Executive version also comes with a Blind Spot Monitoring system, radar Adaptive Cruise Control and a two-panel panoramic sunroof as well as the forward collision monitoring system and 20-inch alloy wheels.
The new Chrysler 300C goes on sale in the UK from the 14th June.
