The second annual Pink Car Rally is coming up, and organisers are finalising entrants for the charity event.
The gathering raises awareness of, and funds for, a fledgling children's charity called the Little Princess Trust.
This worthy cause provides 'real hair' wigs for children who lose their real hair, primarily through chemotherapy.
In 2008 the charity was put forward to WOMAC for consideration for support, and is one of WOMAC's chosen charities this year.
At Eastnor Castle last year 15 vehicles participated in the Rally, with more unusual models including a pink Reliant Robin, Audi TT, Kia Carens, a Bed-Bug and an Nissan Gloria import.
Participants came from as far afield as Yorkshire and Essex. The Rally was from Hereford Hospital to Bristol Children's Hospital.
This year's Rally is on Sunday 6th September and will run from Hereford Hospital to Birmingham Children's Hospital.
So if you have a car that fits the criteria and would like to take part, visit www.littleprincesses.org.uk or http://www.pink-car-rally.com.
The organisers will be 'tickled pink' to hear from you...
