Wet period for motorists

With the end of summer, the UK's weather is about to take a turn for the worse, with national statistics showing that October signals the start of the country's wettest period of the year.

Using advanced glass nanotechnology, Comma has developed a product which, when applied to a windscreen, seals the microscopic pores in the glass with a super-smooth invisible barrier that helps repel rain, sleet and snow. The car care company have produced it for the market as Rain Clear Gel.

With Rain Clear applied to the windscreen, the miserable weather expected does not stop drivers seeing clearly on the road.

When precipitation hits the glass, it forms into droplets which are then simply swept away by aerodynamic windflow, improving visibility and driving safety. Because it comes as a concentrated gel, the 150ml tube should last a long time.

Rain Clear is available from all good car accessory stores or online at priced £5.99. For further information, visit
